I have done “hot yoga” for the first time in my life. It was awesome! Even thought it is winter season in New York now, I could feel summer at that moment and sweated a lot. So I’m going there as much as possible. But you know, it was a little bit expensive, compared to my favorite yoga studio in East Village.
How much dollars was it expensive? – ホットヨガって高いの？
I went to “hot yoga in 28th St” today. I payed total nine dollars (five dollars for the fee and four dollars for the borrowing mat and towel). I usually go to “regular yoga in St. Marks” (Both are Yoga to the People). The second one, where I have gone many times is famous about “free yoga” because of the donation. So it means you can pay for the fee how much do you want to pay. I used to pay only one dollar but nowadays I have payed five dollars. In brief, today’s hot yoga was four dollars more expensive than the regular yoga in East Village. However, I think it is still reasonable provided most single yoga class in New York cost you average more than twenty dollars.
What’s the difference between the two of them? – 何が違うの？
You know the most different thing of doing hot yoga is you can sweat profusely! In my opinion, I don’t need hot yoga during summer but I realized it was good for doing yoga in winter. Next, you can get enough space to do yoga there. Sometimes free yoga in St. Marks is too packed to do yoga. Anyway, sweating buckets is very important so I prefer to do hot yoga especially during winter.
